The mission of the National Eye Care IPA Coalition is to represent, assist, and facilitate doctor owned and operated eye care Independent Professional Associations (IPA's) in their pursuit of quality eye care for the public they serve.

purpose

The purpose of this Coalition shall be to exchange information and engage in programs and joint activities relating to the growth and development of state eye care IPA's, to enhance and facilitate reciprocal relations between state eye care IPAs, to cooperate in solving the mutual problems of the state eye care IPA members, and to engage in other activities as the Coalition may determine, for the purpose of promoting and enhancing state eye care IPAs in the health care delivery system, for the benefit of the health care consumer.

objectives

1. Cooperate, establish and facilitate a meaningful liaison with state eye care IPA's. To that end, maintain the autonomous yet cooperative basis of member eyecare IPA's in evaluating, organizing, and marketing vision care plan(s) direct to the public they serve.

2. Encourage and assist member IPA's in evaluating, organizing, and marketing vision care plan(s.)

3. Provide IPA members with opportunities to exchange information and to engage in common programs and joint activities relating to the development and expansion of independent eye care.

4. Identify, evaluate and introduce national eye care "oppportunities" that are deemed beneficial to the state eye care IPA members and the public they serve.

5. Interface with national and local vendors to facilitate strategic alliances for the mutual benefit of all parties involved.
